Welcome to St.Mary's Orthodox Cathedral

Sulthan Bathery Orthodox Cathedral had its humble beginning at the year of 1944 .Till then this place didn’t have any Christian churches.Mar Athanasious, the Metropolitan of Angamali felt the need of the hour and issued an order fecilitating the setup of a church at Sulthan Bathery. In the earlier times there were no permanent vicars for this church. Late Rev.frs Udinal, O.C. Mathews and Chemmala Kuriakose were in charge of this church till the year of 1951.
